Yesterday it was announced that Jubilee would be appearing in the new X-Men First-Class sequel, X-Men Apocalypse. It feels like every day there is a new announcement resulting in a book getting hot and this one was rather Predictable when you look at what Marvel has been doing the past few months pushing towards more female published characters, so Jubilee having a front role in the new X-Men film makes sense.

This has resulted in Jubilee’s first appearance Uncanny X-Men #244 to start heating up astronomically. Currently Near Mint copies seem to be selling for $30 with Fine and Very Fine condition copies hitting $15. This is big news for a book that has largely been neglected for the past twenty years.

Another book that should see some movement based on this news is Uncanny X-Men #257 – the first appearance of Jubilee’s new costume.
