This weeks Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles could be a game changer. It seems like this story has been going on for some time. In this issue the war to control the foot clan continues and a female member of the clan, Jennika, is impaled by Shredders granddaughter, Karai. Both of these characters are fighting for the leadership of the Foot Clan.

Unable to take Jennika to a hospital the turtles perform a blood transfusion which results in Jennika becoming a Turtle.

As a result of this story development – copies of this book, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles #95 have disappeared from online marketplaces. Right now the only place I can find to order copies is directly from IDW’s website.

This is a book to be watching. While right now there havn’t been any over cover price sales to report – the 1 in 10 variant seems to already be a big winner. So far there are four sales of this book averaging around $100.

Another book to be looking for is the first appearance of Jennika. While Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles #95 could very well be considered the first appearance of “Jennika Turtle” you shouldn’t be sleeping on her first appearance in the TMNT universe. Jennika first appeared in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles #51. A few copies of this book have sold online today but none of the sales are really noteworthy. There is a 1:10 Kevin Eastman variant cover that should see some interest based on how this character ends up being used in the TMNT universe.
