News broke earlier today over at Screen Rant that the upcoming Charles Soule / Scott Snyder penned series, Undiscovered Country – published by Image Comics – had sold the film rights to New Republic Pictures in a rumoured seven figure deal. Scott Snyder and Charles Soule are attached to the project to write the screenplay – this is also being described as a possible multiple film franchise.

Undiscovered Country #1 is being released on November 6, 2019.  The first appearance of this series was the special convention ashcan that was given away at the 2019 San Diego Comic Convention. When news broke about the film deal earlier today copies of the ashcan started moving online from $50 to $60. Copies are currently available online for $150 to $250.
