The week sees the release of the highly anticipated first issue of The Batman Who Laughs The Grim Knight. This book has several store variants as well as a very nice looking Gabriele Dell’Otto Cover B Variant cover. The Cover B has been hovering just above cover price with a lot of sales online.

 

This week seems to be more focused around Marvel Ratio variant covers. There are a few that come out this week that I would like to highlight.

 

Unbeatable Squirrel Girl #42 has a 1:25 variant cover. I’m not sure how many stores order 25 copies of this particular title, my assumption would be that the number would be low. This variant cover has one on ebay for $40.

Another variant title that is selling over its ratio is the 1:50 Age of X-Man Apocalypse and X-Tracts #1. This book has a handful of sales just above ratio. This was pointed out to me by Gary Nusser.

 

 

Another new series that comes out this week is Magnificent Ms Marvel #1. This Kamala Khan centered series has two ratio incentive variant covers that seem to be performing very well on the secondary market. These books have additional potential because of the release of the Captain Marvel film and rumors that Kamala Khan will be appearing in the second installment. Magnificent Ms. Marvel #1 has a 1:25 Babs Tarr variant that is selling well above ratio with a handful of sales on ebay ranging from $25 to $40. The 1:50 variant cover features artwork by Elsa Charrtier and has been selling for around $60.
