WARNING: The next post might contain some minor spoilers for the Season Two of Daredevil on Netflix. I was able to finish watching the new season of Daredevil this weekend and was able to find two books that seem to be starting to heat up. The new season was great adding some of the great iconic Frank Miller Daredevil concepts.

The first book that you should be looking for comes from The Punisher Volume 4 #3 from 2000. This book features a scene brought to life and used as the source material for the introduction of the Punisher to Daredevil.To avoid spoilers that scene can be seen here.

This book sold for $4 to $7 on ebay two weeks ago and can be found in many dollar bins at your local comic book convention. Recently, however, this book has been selling upwards of $25 in near mint condition. Since this scene can only be made once, this book is sure to lose steam. Although, there is still time to make money with this book. When this book was released it came sealed with a Marvel Knight Promotional comic book – most copies were opened which resulted in unopened copies demanding a premium on the secondary market. 

The second book you should be looking for is the first appearance of the Hand. The Hand is the mythical Marvel Universe gang of mercenaries created by Frank Miller in Daredevil #174.

The storyline of the second season of Daredevil features heavy appearances from the Hand organization. The Hand isn’t going anywhere as this group continues to play an integral part in Daredevil story-lines both classic and new. The first appearance of “The Hand” Daredevil #174 currently sells on average for $25 to $30 in near mint condition. Now is the time to be buying this issue as it is very undervalued (more people will realize this once they finish watching the entire new season).
