Week in Review: July 29, 2020

.
Hello and welcome to the week in review on Comicbookspeculation.com – home of the original week in review – where we go over all of the hot books being released to comic book stores. Here are the books that I think are noteworthy that come out this week.

.

This week is very Marvel focused. The first book I want to talk about is the second print to Thor #5. Riding on the Black Winter and Donny Cates hype train this book is currently selling for $20.

Speaking of variant covers – this weeks Symbiote Spider-Man #5 features a one in twenty-five variant that has been heating up over past few days. This variant features a homage to the classic John Romita comic panel of Spider-Man throwing away his costume from The Amazing Spider-Man #50. Alex Saviuk is the artist of this cover and it has multiple sales around $50.

The last book I want to talk about is Captain Marvel #18. This book features an all new character, Lauri-Ell, Captain Marvel’s Half-sister who just so happens to be full Kree. This book has two covers, both of which seem to be selling for $10 to $15.
