Hollywood Daze: One Punch Man
.
Earlier this week news came out that Sony was working on a live-action adaptation of the very popular anime series One Punch Man. One Punch Man is about Saitama, a superhero who can defeat his opponents with a single punch.
.
.
One Punch Man was created by the Artist “One” and was first published through a web comic in 2009 which later launched into a manga adaptation which led to a critically acclaimed anime series that launched in 2015. While the first appearance of One Punch man was first published in Japanese in 2009 by Shueisha Publishing, the English translations of the first appearance are also great books to be looking for.
.
.
One very interesting thing about One Punch Man is that the first English translation was published in 2014 by Viz Media – but for some reason comic book speculators and collectors alike are gravitating towards the One Punch Man Free Comic Book Day preview issue from 2016. The FCBD edition has been selling for $40 to $65 and has been proclaimed as the “only US appearance” – which is an incorrect label. The FCBD book is just a preview comic of a graphic novel that was released two years earlier. There is also a Lootcrate variant of the Graphic Novel which was published in 2018.
.
.
The Graphic Novel where One Punch Man’s First appears can be found at comic book stores and can be ordered through Diamond – It has a $9.99 cover price.
You can currently purchase the book from TFAW for $7.99.

Your not a comic collector, that’s why you don’t understand. First of all One Punch Man 2015 vol 1 is more of a book (not like your regular comic book). The one punch man free comic book day is the only actually comic book released so far. That count as a first comic book appearance, now that is why comic investors are buying only the FCBD. There comic investor and not book investor =)
Something tells me you havn’t read or even looked at the graphic novel where the FCBD book is reprinted from.
