News broke on the weekend about the upcoming Loki Disney Plus series and how it will introduce a classic Marvel character in the MCU. Hollywood movie scooper Daniel Richtman broke the news that the upcoming Loki series set to premier in 2021 will introduce Kang the Conqueror.

Kang the Conqueror, Nathanial Richards, first appeared in 1964 when he was created by Jack Kirby and Stan Lee in the pages of Avengers #8. What is interesting about this character is that in the Marvel comic universe Nathanial is a descendant of Reed Richards, Reed Richards father or Victor Von Doom – this is never actually clarified. Daniel Richtman has a great track record with reporting insider information so while this is still an unconfirmed rumor I don’t question its validity.
