Following a long line of “Kickstarter Spotlight” articles, I thought it was time to branch out to looking at different kinds of crowdsourced comic books. Today I would like to spotlight the recently launched Indiegogo campaign for the Graphic Novel “The Expendables Go to Hell”.  While this project is coordinated by Richard Meyer, one of the main protagonists in the comic-gate saga, this comic book has an incredible creative team so I have given that a pass.

The Expendables Go To Hell is a 90 page graphic novel based on the Expendables movie franchise. This story of this book is written by both Chuck Dixon and Sylvester Stallone, with the text written by Richard Meyer and Chuck Dixon. The interior artwork will be by Graham Nolan! This will be the second Expendables comic book written by Chuck Dixon and the first comic book featuring written credit from Oscar nominated actor (and screenwriter) SYLVESTER STALLONE!

The indiegogo campaign offers five different covers with art from Kelsey Shannon, Billy Tucci, Richard Meyer, Jason Johnson and Renzo Rodriquez. The Graphic Novel is $30 USD and has a delivery date of May 2020. If you’re like me and a fan of the Expendables film franchise you won’t want to miss this book!
