News came out earlier today from some rather reliable sources that Dracula and Werewolf by Night would be joining the Disney Plus Moon Knight series. This shouldn’t be a real shock to fans as all three of these characters have interconnected story-lines. It is also worth mentioning that this was theorized by Nico on the Comic Book Wars podcast a few weeks ago.

Moon Knight first appeared in the pages of Werewolf by Night. The Werewolf by Night’s first appearance in Marvel Spotlight #2 in 1972 – he was given his own solo series a few months later.

The Dracula character within the Marvel Universe is based on the classic Bram Stroker Count Dracula character. He first appeared in the Marvel Universe in Tomb of Dracula #1 from 1972. The original Tomb of Dracula series went on for 70 issues and features classic artwork as well as some classic first appearances – including the first appearance of Blade.

Disney has not released a pending release date for the Moon Knight series.
