The 1987 cult classic film, The Lost Boys, is about two teenagers moving to a new town where they encounter a gang of motorcycle vampires. In this film one of the main characters played by Corey Haim, walks into a comic book store where he meets “The Frog Brothers” characters. Corey Feldman plays one of the Frog Brothers and gives Corey Haim’s character a horror comic book that is supposed to help save his life. The Comic book – Vampires Everywhere –  was a prop comic book that only appeared in the film – This book was integral to the films plot as it showed ways to survive a vampire apocalypse.

Later in the film we are introduced to another comic book, Destroy all Vampires – these prop comic books were produced by now defunct comic publisher Blackthorn Publishing.

Bottleneck Gallery hired a team of artists who used the screen images and painstakingly put together prop replica editions of the screen used comic books.

These 16 page comic books can be purchased directly from the Bottleneckgallery website where sets of both books can be purchased for $15. This is a great deal considering sets of both books have been selling on ebay for $25 to $30.
