Skybound Entertainment has provided some of the more memorable Black Friday exclusive deals in recent memory. They’ve offered Mystery Boxes that came with special Walking Dead #100 exclusives, they’ve sold mystery “Skybound Fifth Anniversary Variant” boxes and this year they are selling their 2019 Convention Walking Dead Mystery Box.

These boxes are $50 each and right from the sale listing “For the first time on the Skybound Shop, we’re offering up THE WALKING DEAD mystery boxes that have been offered at conventions all summer. We’ll have a limited supply available during this Black Friday weekend. This will be your last chance for these boxes. From comics to apparel and collectibles, each $50 box contains merch valued at $200 dollars, every box will contain a TWD CGC 9.8 comic, two random 15th anniversary blind bag comics, action figures and more.”

At New York Comic Con I was able to get my friend Nick Hart to pick up one of these for me and it included various “Bloody variant” action figures as well as a CGC 9.8 copy of the 2014 San Diego Comic Con variant cover for Walking Dead #129. I was able to sell the CGC book for $55 and the action figures sell online for $20 to $50 each.

Based on that I think these boxes are great items to be buying. I’m really glad Skybound has brought mystery boxes back to their online store.
