The season finale of the Second Season of DC’s Titans TV series will premier on the DC streaming app next Friday, November 29. Today DC released a video featuring interviews from various people behind the scenes of the show including the costume department for the series which came with a few easter eggs.

Shown in the background are various characters concept costume artworks – one of these images features Curran Walters, who plays Jason Todd, in a Nightwing costume.

It’s possible DC isn’t going to use this costume but I’m not sure why they would go to the effort of developing it and not use it. While Nightwing first appears in Teen Titans #44 – I would steer away from this book. This book already fetches a good chunk of change in high grade condition and I’m not sure this news will effect the book. I do however, think it would be a good idea to look for copies of the first time Jason Todd wears the Nightwing outfit – as it looks like that is what the DC Titans show is going to introduce us to.

An image also leaked of the suit on a manikin suggesting that the character is very likely coming in the next two episodes of the series.

Jason Todd first becomes Nightwing in the DC One Year Later Story that starts in Nightwing #118. This is from the second volume of the series and the book was published in 2006. This book has a second printing and a newsstand variant – copies of the first print (direct edition) book currently sell for $3 online.
