Last week (October 16) Key Collector put out an alert advising subscribers that the Boom Studios series Grass Kings had been acquired by Legendary Television. On Wednesday of this week (October 23) it was confirmed by Deadline that Legendary Television were working on a Grass Kings TV series.

Grass Kings was a 15 issue comic book series published by Boom Studios in 2017. The book is written by Matt Kindt (Mind MGMT) and features artwork by Tyler Jenkins (Peter Panzerfaust). The first issue is the first appearance of the book and its characters – this first issue has two regular covers and a one in “fifteen intermix” Ratio variant cover.

The regular covers are selling for $10 to $15 in near mint condition while there have not been any real noteworthy sales of the ratio variant cover.

Another variant cover was offered for Grass Kings #1 at the Emerald City Comic Con in 2017 – this book features artwork by Tyler Jenkins. Since this news hit the internet this book has been selling for $25.
