Early yesterday Marvel Comics announced a new Immortal Hulk comic that looks very interesting! Immortal Hulk: Great Power #1 is advertised as “Peter Parker and Bruce Banner collide like never before” and the cover artwork for the one-shot is what makes this book so appealing.

This book features a cover of a Spider-Man / Hulk hybrid. While the headline of “collide like never before” sounds interesting – this wouldn’t be the first time we saw a Peter Parker / Hulk hybrid in the pages of a Marvel Comic. In Web of Spider-Man #70 from 1990 Peter Parker becomes the Hulk – and the cover has a striking resemblance to the Immortal Hulk: Great Power #1 cover. (Spider-Man also appeared as the Hulk in Hulked out Heroes #1 from 2010.)

Web of Spider-Man #70 has been growing in interest these past few months. This book currently sells for about $20 in near mint condition. There is no telling what the new Immortal Hulk: Great Power #1 one-shot will do to effect these prices.

Immortal Hulk Great Power #1 is released on January 29, 2020.
