The second season of the Amazon Prime Series, The Boys, started filming right after the first season premiered on the Amazon streaming platform. Yesterday some images leaked from the filming of season 2 and a few characters have been confirmed to appear in the new episodes.

The Boys is filming in Toronto, Canada – many of the filming locations are outside making them very easy for members of the public to catch a glimpse of what is going on. We would like to Thank the great Andrew Rochon of the CGC Comics blog for providing us images of the set.

The scene being filmed showed Homelander making a speech to a large crowd outside of the Sevens Headquarters. A large statue was placed by the filming department showing a memorial to the character “Soldier Boy”.

While this character obviously appears in the upcoming Season – this memorial statue would indicate he has a minor role. The statue also gives the dates “1910 to 1982” – so one would have to assume that if this character does show up it would be in flashback scenes.

In the Boys series Solider Boy created the super-hero team Payback – he is also a parody of Marvel’s Captain America. In his first appearance, The Boys: Herogasm #1 – he is featured in a one on one sex scene with Homelander.

The filmed scene had a few extras holding up placards. Many of these features Homelander and a new female character.

I would have to assume that this is the Crimson Countess – a character that had been hinted at on twitter by Eric Kripke. Credited as the original developer of the Amazon TV adaptation.

In the Boys series Crimson Countess is a member of Soldier Boy’s Payback team. Crimson Countess makes a one panel non speaking appearance in The Boys: Herogasm #1 and has a multiple panel, integral to the story, appearance in The Boys: Herogasm #2.

Before the Season 2 Premier of the Boys – you might want to be picking up copies of The Boys: Herogasm #1 and #2. Issue 1 has a few variants including a negative art variant and a virgin art variant.
