DC is Working on an Adam Strange TV Series

Space
A rumor came out earlier today from a media insider indicating that DC was working on developing an Adam Strange television series. This comes from what I would consider a very reliable source. Adam Strange did already appear in DC’s Krypton so this could either mean DC is trying to spin this character off from Krypton or they’re going to make an all new Adam Strange television series.

Adam Strange is a normal everyday human who is teleported through space and ends up with some really cool alien technology – including a jet-pack space suit. This character would translate well for any media project. There is also a brand new Strange Adventures comic series featuring Adam Strange we’re supposed to see more of at NYCC

For Adam Strange there are a few books to be looking for. Adam Strange first appears in DC Comics Showcase #17 – from 1958. He appears in the subsequent issues, Showcase #18 and #19 – and his logo first appears on a cover on Showcase #19 – his third appearance.

Showcase #17 is reprinted in Strange Adventures #217 (1969) for the first time making it a great book to be looking for with a low buy in price. Adam Strange also had his own solo series in 1990 featuring artwork by Adam and Andy Kubert. This was his first solo-series.
