Week in Review: May 8

This week most speculators seem to be focused on Marvel’s War of the Realms New Agents of Atlas #1. This book is supposed to feature a few new characters. This book has a 1 in 25 and a 1 in 50 variant cover, both of which have been selling above their ratio. The 1 in 25 Pyeong Jun Park variant has been selling for $30 to $50 while the 1 in 50 Patrick Zircher cover has been selling for $60 to $100.

This week sees the release of a few very striking cover B variant covers including a Jenny Frison Wonder Woman Cover. Marvel is releasing three covers for the Marvels Annotated issue 3. One of those cover is by Garbielle Dell’Otto, this cover has a few sales online that hover just above cover price.

Another book that comes out this week that has a handful of sales above cover price on the secondary market is Jungle Comics #1 from Antarctic Press. This is the third volume of the series, the first from this publisher. This book has three covers and all of them have sales on the secondary market above their suggested retail prices.

  • heads up the statement about getting double ratio for agents of atlas is incorrect. 1st off they are only doubling cover a whereas both cover a and connecting variants count towards ratio variants, and the extra copies do not count towards extra ratios. you only get ratios based on your initial order.

  • That Dorman cover could have been acquired through the Kickstarter for $10. One just sold for $49.99.
