New comic book day is tomorrow and there is already a clear winner for this weeks books. Scooby-Do Team Up #12, a book that has been talked about almost ad nauseum since the Harley Quinn / Poison Ivy Cover art was released, comes out this week and is already selling for stupid money on presale. In the past two days the average selling price on ebay as been between $20 and $25.

Why? Because since this is a kid-comic (even though many retailers were made aware of Harley Quinn appearing in this issue) many speculators believe this book has a lower print run – One could argue that since this Scooby Doo title was launched as a DC Team-Up title where Scooby Doo teams up with characters – this issue – Scooby Doo Team Up #12 – could be the highest print run Scooby Doo comic ever – (forgetting of course the gold old days of Gold Key) – This book will most likely go down in value long term – however there is a lot of money that can be made short term if you’re able to secure copies tomorrow!
