With every new comic book- TV / Movie announcement I get less optimistic about seeing the comic book on the big screen. This week FOX president announced the optioning of two books one being the critically acclaimed Jason Aaron and Jason Latour book Image title, Southern Bastards. Southern Bastards is being developed into a live action television series for FX. Southern Bastards #1 has been selling in the last two days for $10 – $15 with the variant covers selling for up to $60! The two winners seem to be the CBLDF cover and the Heroes Comic Con Variant Cover from 2014. Right now you can still order copies of the CBLDF cover for $10 – and it seems to be selling for $30 to $40+ on ebay. Easy money to be made on this one. SOLD OUT 🙁 What will this mean for Scalped #16 or Scalped #43? The First appearance of Earl Tubbs prototype and the first collaborative work between Aaron and Latour? Currently $10 – $15 books – these books have lower print runs then Southern Bastards #1 and have a LOT of potential for growth. Read more here.
