In November of 2014 Image Comics started a promotion where retailers would sign up and receive copies of select books. The retailer is able to return all unsold copies and only pay for copies they sell – This helps bring Image Comics into markets and stores that might otherwise not order Image, it also allowed retailers to give there customers a taste of what the publisher had to offer. Starting in November these books had unique covers feature the new Image Comics Logo, the program is still on-going however the unique variant covers were discontinued, announced by Image on March 25, 2015.
