I don’t read Wired.com so I learned about this from a Key Collector App notification but Wired.com is reporting today that Booster Gold is coming to the small screen. In a recent article about the CW’s Crisis on Infinite Earths series the author wrote “Next year, TV will add Arrowverse shows with Superman, Stargirl, Booster Gold, and Green Lantern.” It is unclear if this means Booster Gold will be joining one of the already established CW shows like Batwoman and Supergirl or If Booster Gold will be having his own series all together. Booster Gold is from the future and uses his knowledge of historical events to show off his super powers. Over the past 5 years there have been numerous rumblings about Booster Gold, in 2015 there were reports that DC was working on a Blue Beetle / Booster Gold film – but this is the first time we have an official outlet saying Booster Gold is coming.

Booster Gold first appears in the 1986 comic book Booster Gold #1.  CGC 9.8 copies of this book have been trending down recently from a 2018 12 month average price of $234 to the last 90 day average of $182. There is also a Canadian Price variant for this book that commands high dollar, the last CGC 9.8 sale of a Canadian Price variant copy of Booster Gold #1 was $495 in July of 2019. As more news comes out about the Booster Gold character joining the CW DC universe this book will start to see a lot more interest.

Another book that I think could jump in price depending on how the CW utilizes Booster Gold is Justice League #4 from 1987. This book features Booster Gold joining the Justice League team for the first time.
