Star was first introduced in the Marvel universe in Captain Marvel #8 from 2019. There are three covers for this book; a regular cover, a “secret” blood splatter variant and a Venom-ized variant with artwork by Inhyuk Lee. We did speak about this title when the books were released in July.

This title has a second print and third print variant cover as well as several second print “virgin art” store variant covers.

It was later revealed in the pages of Captain Marvel #10 that Star’s real name is Ripley Ryan. Ripley Ryan does have a brief appearance in Captain Marvel #1 from 2018. This book had few high end ratio variants as well as an Artgerm chase variant.

fyi cm 8 1st print has a ratio 1:25
Wasn’t there a movie variant for 1? No one one ever talks about that.
Third print of #8 has a fairly low print run. Might be one to look out for seeing how reprints are all the rage these days.
