At this past San Diego Comic Con DC announced that they were working on a new animated film for the DC streaming service called Justice League Vs The Fatal Five. At the time of the announcement there was little information about the film, just that the Justice League would fight the Fatal Five with speculation that the team would consist of Tharok, Emerald Empress, Validus, Mano and The Persuader.

This week The Hollywood Reporter revealed the voice cast for the film and with it came more information about the movies story line. “The story centers on the Justice League battling a group of time-traveling villains who are in search of budding Green Lantern Jessica Cruz.”

Jessica Cruz made her first appearance in the New 52’s Green Lantern #20 published in 2013. This book has a 1:25 sketch variant cover. This is just a one panel cameo appearance – which is the notation added on CGC graded copies. Cruz made her next appearance in 2014’s Justice League #30 and #31. While all three of these books have combo-pack variants only Justice League #30 has a Mad Magazine variant.

All three of these books are seeing a sudden surge of interest and will continue to as development and promotion of this new film progresses.
