Week in Review: June 29

This week there are two books to be looking for.

The first one has been heavily discussed on many speculation websites. Marvel’s Press department has been working overtime the past few weeks trying to let everyone know they were introducing a new character, Mosaic, debuting this week in Uncanny Inhumans #11. This book has a 1:25 variant cover, a Marvel 80 Years variant and a regular cover. All of which have been sold out on Diamond for some time. Currently, the 1:25 variant cover has multiple sales at the $130 mark, with the regular cover $10 to $15. This book will likely go down in value but has great pump and dump value if you can secure copies this week and list them online.

Another book that has been heating up this week is Invincible Iron Man #7 from 2016. This book has been selling for a few dollars above cover and is the first appearance of Riri Williams – the new war machine. Depending on how Marvel uses this character after its new Civil War II event – this first appearance could really have some legs. This will be the first appearance of a new Marvel character who just happens to be a strong black woman in the Iron Man outfit. Call me crazy but this character is going places! Update:  (there is also a second print with a very low print run and colour variation cover that should also see some interest).
UPDATE: A CGC 9.8 copy sold on June 27 for $150 USD. This book is on FIRE.

  • I tried to win IIM #7 in CGC 9.8 yesterday and it ended at $145. Going places indeed.

    There’s a 2nd print for Iron Man #7.
No idea of the print run – doesn’t show up on comichron, unless it is counted in the 51k+ listed in march.

  • Second print is still available at diamond so if your store doesn’t have it they should be able to order it for you.
