Today is new comic book day and two new books are coming out that are already heating up on ebay. These two books have sold out at diamond and are going for second prints.

Star Wars Darth Vader #3 -This book introduces the character Aphra and is her first appearance. This book has been heavily discussed on many comic book news websites, so this is just a reminder to pick up as many copies as you can. Many retailers are reporting they were allocated only receiving 50-70% of their initial order from Diamond for
this title. Its currently selling for $10 – $15 with the 1:25 variant going for $60 and up.

We Can Never Go Home #1 Black Mask. This is another Black Mask title from Matt Rosenberg, writer and co-creator of Ghostface Killah’s Twelve Ways to Die, title. This book sold out at Diamond a few days ago and has been averaging $6 to 8 on ebay. This book has a lot of potential. And very soon, the limited edition variants will be offered on Matt Rosenberg’s Ashcan Press website. 

Lazarus was picked up by Legendary TV yesterday. Resulting in Lazarus #1 selling online for upwards of $10! Which is big news for a dead book that retailers could only sell at cover last week! There are a few variants for this title still available for very reasonable prices. The most reasonable being the CBLDF.

Another book to look for is I Kill Giants #1, the 2008 Image Series. This week it was announced this book was in development to be a film resulting in a full #1 to 6 first print set ebay auction with four days left at $80! I Kill Giants #1 first and second prints are quickly becoming hot commodities.
