This book is coming out on March 4 and already it looks like its going to be a winner.
Descender is Jeff Lemire’s first creator owned work (of three announced with Image this year) and already this title has been optioned by Sony after a studio bidding war.

The book has also already been receiving near perfect reviews from Comic Fan sites. This book is sure to be a winner. With 5+ potential retailer variant covers, if you’re going to speculate on this book you should buy all of them or just your favourite.

This isn’t the first Lemire on-going series. Lemire has shifted his focus from drawing and writing to just writing, but Lemire’s earlier work and his first on-going series, Sweet Tooth have the potential to be opened up to a wider audience. Descender’s success will result in a larger demand for Sweet Tooth, which will result in Sweet Tooth #1 skyrocketing in value.

Right now a $10 book, Sweet Tooth #1 is a book to be holding on to.
